| "I LOVE YOU", wow to think that the phrase most people use at least once a day(in my opinion that is) could trigger a cataplexy attack. So, do you really believe that is possible? I mean I know certain emotions bring on Cataplexy but WOW. I don't know what I would do if that was my situation. I hope that doctors would try ... |

| Ok, not a title you will see on any news articles, but sure does catch the eye doesn't it! It makes me wonder what we would find out about unsolvable car accidents. Since it is only possible to discover Narcolepsy when an individual is alive and tested by a sleep specialist, I guess that we'll never know how many fatalities are caused by having sudden sleep attacks behind the wheel. | I began to onset with Narcolepsy when I was 20, a sophomore in college, with EDS and the sleep attacks, but I just thought it was because I was a diligent student. I wasn't until the week of 9/11/01 that the psychological trauma of that horrible day triggered all the other symptoms to take over my life. Within days after the attacks, I began having vivid nightmares, sleep paralysis happening concurrently with hypnologic hallucinations, etc. ... |
